INGREDIENTS
½ - Ripe avocado, raw
2 - Ripe banana, raw
1 stalk - Celery, raw, chopped
2 cup - Spinach, raw
1-inch - Ginger, raw, peeled
1 ½ cups - Low fat milk
2 tb - Chia seeds, dried
8 - Ice cubes
2 tb - Water
UTENSILS
Mixing bowl, Blender, Drinking glass
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a small bowl, mix the chia seeds and water. Allow sitting for about 10 minutes for the chia seeds to start to soften and gel.
2. Blend the low fat milk, avocado, banana, celery, spinach, ginger, chia seeds and ice in a blender until smooth.
3. Pour the smoothie into a serving glass. Serve immediately.
